There are frightening and unhealthy chemicals in many cleaning products, and so many are also tested on animals in laboratories. Carcinogens, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and phosphates are some of the dangerous by-products found in conventional cleaning products. Why not save yourself some money, create a healthier home environment and protect the environment by
creating your own cruelty-free cleaning products? They are harmless, effective and cost a fraction of store bought brands.
You're like an agitator domestic goddess! In a good way! Happy World Vegan Day!
ReplyDeleteI love that, Vanilla Rose. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have a good book with lots of recipes on this topic. Its called "Clean House, Clean Planet" by Karen Logan. I used to run a house cleaning business where I only used homemade cleaners. I found that Heinz White Vinegar was the only vinegar that didn't leave the house smelling like a salad when I was done.
ReplyDeleteI have that book, Barefeet! That's great advice about the kind of vinegar, too, because I agree: the smell sometimes leaves your house smelling like a salad bar. ;)
